From 1975 – 1981, we knew her as Ann Romano, the divorced mother on “One Day at a Time.” Her teenaged daughters were played by Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli. After the show ended, she had a few small roles on TV and directed a few projects and did community theater. She also released a tap dancing exercise video called “I Hate to Exercise, I Love to Tap” (see photo below!!!).
