Peter Tork, best known as a member of The Monkees, celebrates his 68th birthday tomorrow. He was a musician before landing the role on the TV show and came up through the Greenwich Village folk scene of the 1960’s. He’s had a few TV roles here and there and has been part of The Monkees reunions on and off throughout the years. His latest band is called Shoe Suede Blues and they have a new CD called “Cambria Hotel.”
